Risk assessment 1

On Sunday we will be filming the footage for the intro of our music video. The weather forcast is looking good as the forecast is to be sunny all day with a cloudy sky. This is the ideal weather which we hoped for. Our actor will be arriving at 10 o'clock to start filming. Below is the risk assement for the field which we are going to be filming in.

Risk
Solution
1.       Might not be able to film in the field due to specific reasons.
Ask the own of the field if it is okay to use their property for filming and if there is any safety hazards which need to be aware of whilst filming there.
2.       Filming outside so there is a risk of bad weather which can damage any equipment and affect the welfare of our actors and ourselves.
Check in advance that the weather is appropriate to what we want and it make sure it is suitable and safe to film in.
Take waterproof clothing and also umbrellas just encase the weather changes during filming.
3.       Battery may run out of charge.
Ensure that the battery is fully charged before filming and carry a spare fully charged battery encase the first battery dies or gets damaged.
4.       Memory card may be full.
Make sure any unwanted footage or files are wiped off the memory card so there isenough space for any footage.
5.       Field may be occupied by cows or any other form of life stock.
Check that there aren’t any animals in the field before filming.
6.       Blockage of entrances or exits.
Clear any brambles or anything blocking the entrance or the exits of the field . i.e  any gates
7.       Field being water logged or extremely muddy.
Take a spare pair of footwear or wellies.
