Finished video

Here is our final draft of the music video. I am so happy with the final finished video. There are a few things which I can't fix such as two scenes of lip syncing as when out actor was singing he sang the lyrics to slow which  I have spent hours trying to sync them together but I wasn't successful. Otherwise we are both really happy with the finished video and we are really amazed with what we have achieved. The actors deserve a big thank you for the amount of hours which they put into filming the video as well, especially our main actor Oliver Trivett. Really happy it is over though.

Institution

The record label which I decided to go with is Reprise Records. I decided not to make up my own record label as i wanted to pay a tribute to the band and the record label, not to steal anything so I decided to go with the same record label who own's the rights to the song. Reprise records was found in America during by Frank Sinatra in 1960. Reprise records is owned by one of the big three major music which is warner bros studios. The record label is operated by warner bro's music. 

I choose this record label label as the band that which this song belong's to is owned by theis record label so I thought that since I was using their music it was only right to advertise their record label as well. I did write them a letter to ask for permission to use their song which you can so earlier on in the blog. From looking at other music artist's such as "The Kinks" who are also with reprise records, i Thought that going with a major record label would be the most benefical way of promoiing my digi pack and music video.

In order to promote the record label I have included both logo's and web addresses for reprise records on the digi pack and the poster. This way the audience are able to recognize and see who the record label for their own infomation.

I have decided to completely change my poster as I didn't feel it worked. I received a comment which was "it felt like a magazine front cover". This is not what I wanted my intended preferred reading. On this note I decided to change the layout of the poster. I kept the same image which i used in the previous poster but I cropped it alot more and moved it over to the right. That way there was alot of space for the Title of the band and the album. I made the font big so it can stand out from the images as this is the main bit information the audience. I used the same font and colour scheme as the digi pack so the connection between the two products exist. Also the image is a screen shot from the music video which then shows the connection between all three products.

The bottom half of the poster is built up of information of both album and the the single. I have included images of the single and album so that the audience know what they are looking for. Other codes have been used such as web adresses, record label logo and the logo of where the audience can find the album to buy.
